Online Giving FAQ

Why would I want to give online?

Security and convenience make online transactions an increasingly popular means of donating to an organization.  Plus, Cross of Glory enjoys administrative savings, and you can take advantage of the discipline that recurring donations can provide for your giving.

Is my online giving secure?

Yes.  Every transaction is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the same industry-standard encryption trusted for online commerce with world-class financial organizations.

Does it make a difference if I give via EFT or credit card for my donation?

Yes, there is a difference!  Giving via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) is the best way to give so that the church can avoid paying a 3 to 4% transaction fee that credit cards charge.
For example, for a $100 donation made via EFT, Cross of Glory receives $100.
However, for a $100 donation made via credit/debt card, Cross of Glory only receives $96 to $97.  The other $3 to $4 goes to the credit card company.

Can I give as little or as much as I want?

Donations must be a minimum of $5.00 and there are no limitations on the maximum amount.

When will the transaction go on my account?

You set the date when you want your account or credit card to be charged.

What if I make a mistake and need to have a completed transaction reversed?

Contact the church office immediately so your situation can be handled appropriately.
